Jimboh

His name is Jimboh.

We always wanted to adopt a pet dog. We have been window shopping around SM Baguio pet shops in search of the right one. We were always charmed by the furry type, toy indoor type. As we scouted and discussed prices with Pet Shop operators, one sunday we found ourselves calling a number found in the classified ads offering for sale Shih Tzu Pups with PCCI papers.
I was able to convince the seller to visit our home and bring the pup. Surprise! the pup was very very tiny.
Its the small Shih Tzu Breed , some call them the "Princess" type, internet sources call them " Imperial " type, some sources say these are merely "rants". Everyone has their individual opinions.
By the time i was looking into these conflicting opinions in the internet, we found ourselves already caring and feeding this tiny Shih Tzu male puppy in our home.

The first month of caring for this pup was challenging indeed ( as i had no actual experience), my wife says she did care for her pet dog once. The most frustrating part is the "poopoh" part on our carpet floors and the most worst part is having to step on this without our knowledge and walking all over the house :(. Thanks to an internet source, we found some idea on how to  house train the puppy when it comes to his waste management. It took a lot of patience , until one day Jimboh 's small home/cage  is clean of his waste. We would notice this once we arrive home in the evenings and when we wake up in the mornings. Jimboh is "holding up" until we show up. ( i do tend to believe this is quite dangerous for him)

The doggy smell was also a problem, later did we find out that the smell was coming from an infected ear.Lots of powdering and bathing did not remove the smell. A visit to his vet helped, but the daily cleaning and antibacterial drops as instructed by the vet to us was a major problem. Jimboh would not allow us to even touch his ears. We brought him to the Vet to explain our failure and requested the same to do the droppings and cleanings. Jimboh during the procedure was quiet , well behaved while being Ear cleaned.. how come not to us???...Spolied Brat !

Now on his 4th month and going two months of stay with us, he has been acting like a "spoiled brat".
Jimboh starts complaining about being caged, note that he is out of the cage when we are around, he refuses to be left out in a corner, he can be very stubborn.
This morning my wife gave him a much needed bath, and he started to refuse being blow dryed. My wife decided to cage him while being blow dryed. Once left alone inside his cage,  i heard his cries and saw our Jimboh's eyes with tears.

We felt we had to cuddle and embrace our  little "Spoiled Brat"
