Going Home

It has been seven days to be exact since the family brought  Ate Ne  from St. Peter Chapel 6 to St. Vincent parish church to a place called Beyond the Sunset.

It was around 6 pm when I  spilled my coffee for the second time on the 6th day of the week Saturday, Ate Ne at her dear age of 66 years old. passed on. Ate Ne was cremated on February 6.
Chinese Temple beside SLU Hospital

She was very excited to "go home" after spending two weeks in the intensive care unit at SLU hospital. She was brought home around 6 pm of January 31. The photo shows the chinese temple just beside the hospital while on her way home with her family. Her seeing the temple was to be her last.... she was going home...

I still think of her, we all do. Time heals and its only a matter of time when her departure becomes a part of our daily lives . We are still in the stage of denial and its difficult... but somehow we all have to move on...

Her husband kuya Nel is coping up with the loss...
The Lord allowed him to come home from Aruba and take care of Ate Ne
at least for one year.

Camp John hay happens to be the family's second home during weekends. The family continues to visit John Hay and in spirit Ate Ne is with them always...

I realized that the feeling of loosing a parent is different from the feeling of loosing a sister. At least i know  this is how i felt.

..... time heals and we all move on....

Ate Ne in her teen years.......  and a  grand child that is exactly a duplicate of her grand mother.
We are all faced with constant changes, when there is the passing of a loved one, here comes within our midst a new life.....
